Spartanburg Marriott

Had a really good stay with convenient parking and really great staff. The rooms are starting to show their age just a bit. I would book again without hesitation

Went to the auditorium for a concert, came over to the restaurant Spark. Great place, really interesting wine list. The meals were very good and inexpensive Great staff.

Able to walk to our venue from here. Rooms were the cleanest I have seen in a while when traveling. But their guest room doors bang when closing... only disappointed there is no free wifi for all guests or free breakfast.

Nice quiet, clean, roomy, and comfortable stay. This was my first visit to Spartanburg. I came into town for my cousin’s birthday celebration and stayed at the Spartanburg Marriott because her mother had reserved a block of rooms for the family. Some might say it’s dated, but I think it’s just a classic decor. There might be a bit of peeling wallpaper or scuffed bathroom walls in the hallway and guest rooms, but it didn’t take away from the beauty. The facility was very clean. It even smelled good everywhere I went throughout the hotel. Surprisingly the room temperature upon entering my room in the7th floor was comfortable. Most hotels I walk into are freezing and it’s hard to adjust the thermostats. But that was not so in my hotel room. The temperature was very comfortable and without any mildew smell or moistness in the air. The area surrounding the hotel was beautifully maintained and manicured. I did not eat at any of the restaurants in the hotel because I didn’t really have the time, but I did pick up dinner from the Caribbean restaurant across the street. It was delicious!

First the staff from the front desk to the dinning areas are top notch! Now my room...the room was very spacious. The bed was very comfortable. But the decor needs updating. I was put in a room across from the ice machine and by the elevators. I was there for business and went back to the front desk after dinner to see if my room could be switched out. I was told that all the rooms were booked for the night and I was immediately given complimentary free breakfast during my stay for the inconvenience. Thank you so much!

Rooms feel a tad dated but are spacious, clean and well appointed. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom is large with excellent shower water pressure. Being an older hotel walls were nice and thick. Never heard anyone else in the halls or rooms despite hotel being sold out. M lounge was great for snacks, drinks, and coffee/tea 24hrs. Afternoon light foods were very good as was breakfast. Staff were accommodating and friendly. Restaurants on site were very good. Overall nicer, quiet, well maintained hotel with plenty of areas to work and socialize. Free parking garage below hotel with easy access in and out.

Decent rooms, a little worn, but decent still. Comfy bed, have breakfast available, but, pricey compared to local, whats available. Also, came here for an event, this place could make more if they were better prepped to handle the workload, after the show, they kept telling people the kitchen is closed, then the bar closed down kind of early also. Is ok, but, they are leaving money on the table here, big time. Would stay again for another event, but, then just go to a local bar instead after the show. Or a place serving food anyway. Or both. Great attentive staff, great free parking underneath, mediocre on drink mixing, but, tolerable.

Came for a work conference. The food at lunch was really good. The conference rooms were very cold and had round tables, which makes it difficult to see, listen, and take notes when chairs had ti be turned away from the table. The conference rooms were small and standing room only for some of the lectures. Beautiful lobby, walking areas and bathrooms. All very clean. Did not stay at the hotel, so I don't have comments on the rooms .
